About the Editor — Roli Jain is a scholar of Japanese language and literature, currently teaching Japanese language in Higher School of Economics University in Moscow, Russia. She is a Russian-Indian national, born and raised in Moscow, who had the privilege of pursuing her secondary education in the picturesque locales of Mussoorie and Dehradun in India. For her higher education she returned to Russia and completed her Bachelors and Master’s degrees from the prestigious Institute of Asian and African Studies at Moscow State University. Roli boasts proficiency in Russian, English, Hindi, and Japanese languages, complemented by a profound understanding of Russian, English, and Japanese literatures. Additionally, she harbors a deep affection for Indian cinema and its melodious film scores.
