Gyanendra Awana is a post graduate in Economics from Delhi University and has several degrees and diplomas in various subjects like Sociology, Traffic Engineering, Law, Naturopathy, Computer etc. He is fluent in speaking, reading and writing several languages He served Delhi Police in the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police.
From his early days itself, he developed a deep interest in Vedic philosophy.

Mr. Awana has a deep interest in Indian spiritual literature and epics. He is indeed very inspired by Vedic philosophy. While studying the literature, he was overwhelmed by the beauty of Vedic Dharma and was inspired to write about the Vedas based on his understanding and explanations in simplified manner. As a result, he adopted the teachings of Vedas in his real life. While writing on the importance of Vedas in life, he has tried to focus on the importance of Karma and its impact on our lives.

The Vedas refer to the totality of mankind’s actions and their concomitant reactions in the present and past lives, all of which determine the future.

He has written various blogs on Indian literature, Vedas and Upanishads, which show their importance in our lives. He has made full use of technology and social networking platforms to share simple meanings of verses of the Vedas so that everyone can understand them easily and we can look at life from a different perspective.

He is a well-known Vedic Commentator and involved in various preaching sessions He authored several books.

His famous work is compilation of selected verses of all four Vedas with translation in Hindi and English which is written for a common man so that he can get a glimpse of the hidden treasures in the Vedas. The author translated selected verses of Vedas in more acceptable and widely understandable languages of Hindi and English.
